Retirement Home Made A Parody Video Of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" And We're Not Surprised The Result Went Viral

"Shake It Off" is one of pop star Taylor Swift's catchy tunes that was released in 2014 and quickly topped the charts everywhere. The music video was a hit and included Taylor and her dancers making quirky moves, changing into funny costumes, and making silly faces. 

This video not only resonated with young fans of Taylor Swift, but also the elderly residents of the Julia Wallace Retirement Village in Palmerston North, New Zealand. They loved the song so much that they decided to remake the energetic video themselves. 

The hilarious video features the elderly residents dancing in funky costumes and lip syncing to the hit song. They even mimic Taylor's movements in the video, nailing each video to the letter! 

The retirement community said that it only took about a week to make the viral video and it included about 50 people associated with the retirement village, from the elderly members to the staff and even grandchildren. The famous video how has over 8 million views on YouTube with commenters talking about how hilarious and heartwarming the video is.
