It's no secret that Pierce Brosnan truly admires his wife Keely Shaye Smith and their relationship that has lasted over 20 years. In an interview with the Independent, Brosnan said about his wife Keely:

"I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn't be able to live without. When Keely looks at me, I go weak."

Brosnan's acting career and Keely's own multiple professions, including journalism, certainly could create scheduling obstacles for the couple, but they still find time to spend together. Brosnan told People magazine:

“My wife and I took a short road trip up to Santa Barbara – we were going for a romantic weekend and to look at houses and drink great wine. We didn’t listen to any music, but we just listened to the sounds of each other’s voices and sorted out the world.”

Having been together for quite some time even before their marriage in 2001, the couple's connection has lasted across decades. Brosnan has even taken to Facebook to express his admiration for his wife. In his post Brosnan wrote:

"Thank you for the love my love of these past 25 years, onwards... "
