Paris Jackson’s Risqué Naked Dress Divides The Internet As It Leaves Little To The Imagination

Sep 11, 2023

Paris Jackson, the Jackson family’s middle child, is quite successful as she was able to accomplish a lot of things during her early adulthood. Not only has she built herself a career as a model but the young woman is also a musician. Her first full-length album, “Wilted,” debuted in November 2020.

Born on April 3, 1998, in Beverly Hills, California, Paris was Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe’s second child and only daughter. Her parents named her after the city where she was conceived, as she explains in the below interview.

Tragedy struck in 2009 when Paris was 11, as her father passed away, leaving Paris and her two siblings to live with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson. Just seven years later, when Paris turned 18, she moved out of the house.

Since her teenage years, which were fraught with hardships and controversies, Paris has made a name for herself in the entertainment and fashion industry. When she was 19 years old, she signed a contract with IMG Models, and shortly thereafter, she also made her acting debut on Fox’s musical drama “Star.” And now, Paris has broken into the music industry, following in her father’s footsteps. It all began in 2018 when she and her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Glenn, were in a duo called The Soundflowers. They were able to release original music like “Daisy” and “In the Blue.”

She later dropped her first LP under Republic Records, and it became a success. Two years later, she dropped an EP titled “The Lost,” and she also had non-album singles such as “bandaid” in 2023, and more.

Since Paris Jackson is a model herself, she often attends fashion events wearing clothes from high-end luxury brands. In one particular moment in April 2023, Paris shocked people with her outfit when she attended what appeared to be a fashion event.

In a video shared on her Instagram account, the singer/actress could be seen wearing a body-hugging dress by renowned French haute couture designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Although the dress she wore featured long sleeves and an ankle-length skirt, many people had to look twice as the outfit had a print of a naked woman's body which gave the illusion that Paris wasn’t wearing anything underneath the dress.

Styled by Dani + Emma, the complete look was accessorized with minimal rings, a pair of earrings and a pair of Y2K-inspired sunglasses. She also wore a simple pair of black, open-toe heels. Regarding her hair and makeup, the singer wore her ombré brunette/blonde hair down, and it looked like it was wet. It also appeared that she wore her signature eyeliner.

To top off her look, Paris brought a dog with her, which complemented the color of her dress. The lovely pet appeared to have stayed with her throughout the event as there was one photo where she was seated at the fashion show while the canine rested on the floor.

According to Vogue, the body design on the clothing has been around since the '90s and Gaultier later reworked it as a collaboration with Y/Project and Lotta Volkova. Since the release of the updated version, it took over the world of fashion as influencers, as well as celebrities, wore and styled it to different events.

After the actress shared the video with her followers, her comment section was divided as there were online users who loved her outfit, while others weren’t pleased with it.

“Art is fine…… but my 6 year old daughter doesn’t need to see nude bodies. Keep this away from the kids and keep it on a runway for only adults,” one commented.

“Is there a point to this dress? And when do we start leaving things to the imagination versus having to see everything on display? Sorry Paris this outfit was a flop,” another one wrote.

“Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD…” one expressed.

Another comment even brought up her father, Michael Jackson, as they noted that he wouldn’t have liked her outfit.

“I will never understand the need to show everything even sheer veiled… Something tells me Michael would not have liked this,” one commented.

Another one added, “But if Michael Jackson was living, he wouldn't let it be .. no noooo.”

Despite the negative comments on her post, there were still fans who defended Paris for her fashion choice and explained that she was not explicitly naked, but rather, the dress was printed.

“Why are so many people complaining?! It’s literally a Printed dress! Beside this is She covered completely from head to toe, like calm down. It’s also not her problem if you can’t contain your thoughts,” one wrote.

“People are really that dense to automatically assume the dress is see-through? Good grief, go step in grass in reconnect yourself with nature folks. It ain’t that deep 🤦🏻‍♀️💀,” another one wrote.
