Officials Lure Runaway Pig Back Home Using Doritos

Oct 19, 2018

What should you do if confronted by a pig the size of a miniature pony? If you're one of these San Bernardino-based deputies, it's your responsibility to get that big guy home - and here's how they did it.

On Saturday, local law enforcement responded to a call complaining about a loose pig. It was wandering the streets of a neighborhood in San Bernardino.

It's not the first time this big ham has escaped. The deputies knew where he lived, and where his pen was.

The only problem was corralling him up and returning him there.

After some coaxing and brainstorming, one deputy came up with the idea of using bait. She retrieved some Doritos from her lunch and used them to lure the pig down the street.

In the video, the policewoman can be seen walking slowly backward, leading the grunting, hungry pig behind her. It's a spectacle.

The deputies' plan worked beautifully. The pig followed the trail of Doritos back to his pen, and the deputies gated him without trouble.

What do you think of this Dorito-loving pig? Would you have been able to get him back home? Check out the video and see the footage for yourself, and show it to your friends to see what they have to say about it!
