Neil Diamond Sings A Magnificent Heartfelt Ballad With Puppies

The legendary Neil Diamond is known for his hits in the 60s and 70s including "Sweet Caroline" and "Cherry, Cherry." His songs are uplifting and folksy, and his signature voice always brings them to the next level. His songs from later in his career were no different, including the wonderful "Something Blue" from 2014. The video is as serene as the song, including an appearance from a flock of puppies.

Neil is pictured in the video strumming a guitar in a peaceful field of flowers for "Something Blue" which was from his 2014 album "Melody Road." The video continues on, focused on Neil in nature as he appears by a fence on a meadow and in a field with beautiful red cliffs behind him. 

When you are lulled into the scenery and Neil's golden voice, something even more magical happens in the music video and a group of puppies comes flooding onto the screen. The chubby little creatures run everywhere, leaping around in the natural beauty, excited to be there. They join Neil for the song and enjoy romping around in the grass. 

It's such an adorable sight and we all surely wish we could be transported to that moment and place. Neil looks like he is in heaven as he scoops up a puppy or two and plays with them in the grass as well. The video director Wayne Isham is a very smart guy to include an element of cuteness in this already stunning video.
