Man Calls Baby Owl And The Internet Is Shocked When It Actually Comes To Him

If you think that seeing a loving dog or cat spring towards its human with joy, you will absolutely be elated at a video of a very different kind of animal literally flying lovingly towards his human!

It’s no secret that animals bring so much joy, love and happiness to our lives. Our pets seem to live just to provide us with love and a compassionate playfulness. Anyone with a pet knows the absolute joy of seeing your little critter light up when you walk through the door after a long day at work.

Typically, when we think of a pet we think along the lines of dog or cat. In the most adorable video you have ever seen, a young man shows his outdoor feathered pet showing its love for him.

The pet is a small, adorable baby owl.

The typical image or sighting of an owl is a stoic bird, perched in a tree with wide eyes that oversee the night’s movements. This baby owl proves this stereotype to be absolutely wrong when it flies at an incredibly fast speed to greet its human loved one.

The owner lets out a simple whistle and that sweet baby owl immediately rushes to greet him with its little wings spread wide open. The whistling is how the man greets his fluffy brown friends every day. The two clearly have a very close friendship.

The owl itself is very tiny and has the typical big, bright eyes of an owl as well as fluffy feathers that indicate how young the small bird is.

If you aren’t familiar with owls, they are generally night birds that hunt nocturnally in the darkness. In addition to the benefits that their unique eyes offer them, owls are also equipped with a very cool thing called binaural hearing. This gives them the advantage of being able to hear a sound and immediately know both the direction and the distance that the sound emanated from.

That's probably why this little guy was able to hear his owner so well!

What a cool friendship these two seem to have! It is so wonderful to see that animals and humans can build a rapport even outside of what would be considered a traditional pet. It’s wonderful to see what big hearts both people and animals have.
