Jason Momoa Surprises His Wife Lisa Bonet By Fully Restoring Her '65 Mustang — The First Car She Purchased

On Tuesday, actor Jason Momoa posted 'MY WIFE'S FIRST MUSTANG', a video about surprising his wife actress Lisa Bonet with a restored version of her 1965 Mustang — the first car that Bonet had ever bought — on his YouTube channel.

On Tuesday, actor Jason Momoa, 41, took to YouTube to share a video titled 'MY WIFE'S FIRST MUSTANG'. The video takes viewers through the surprise he prepared for his wife, actress Lisa Bonet, 52: A restored version of her 1965 Mustang — the first car that Bonet had ever bought.

"I know we can't relive a memory, but maybe we can rebuild one," Momoa mused in the video, reflecting on the car's previously beat-up state.

According to PopSugar, the Aquaman actor worked with the craftsmen at Divine 1 Customs in Las Vegas to return the vehicle to its original glory. "I never thought that it would look like this," he admitted, after seeing the completed rebuild. His astonishment, though, is practically nothing compared to that of his wife's.

When Momoa and their two kids — Nakoa-Wolf, 11, and Lola, 13 — delivered her surprise, she appeared stunned by the nostalgic gesture. "It's beautiful. Holy cow," Lisa said. "That is gorgeous. Oh my gosh. It's pristine, not too flashy but just enough." The surprise ended with kisses between the couple before they left hand in hand to take the car for a ride with their two kids in the back.

One viewer wrote: "There are not enough BEAUTIFUL words in any language to express the pure beauty in your love towards your wife and children. Thank you for sharing this with us." Another wrote: "She is blessed with a gentle giant. Bless you guys."

Though Momoa might seem quite tough, the actor turns out to be quite soft-hearted and is not new to giving surprises. During his surprise visit at the UPMC Children’s Hospital in January, Momoa arm-wrestled with a little boy named Joshua, promising him that he could swing by the set of the Aquaman sequel if he would win the match.
