Groom Kisses Bride Before Surprising His Guests With An Actual Miracle

Chris Norton, seven years after the worst day he had ever endured, married his lovely bride, Emily. The day was picturesque, the weather cooperated, and they couldn't wait to say "I do" in front of all their beloved friends and cherished family. 

Although the day had been just as he and Emily imagined it would be, he still had one surprise for his wedding guests. 

After years of grueling work in physical therapy and unwavering mental perseverance, Chris Norton was prepared to walk his true love down the aisle in front of all who came to share in their nuptials. For Chris, this seemed like an impossible feat. 

Chris's worst day happened in 2010 during one of his college football games. Lying on the ground, medical personnel encircling him, his life changed forever. In that one moment playing football, he lost his mobility; in fact, he was now informed that he was indeed paralyzed starting from his chest on downward. For a young athlete, this news was devastating. 

Chris Norton was only given a three percent chance of ever gaining even just a little bit of his mobility back. 

It did not look like Chris would ever walk again, let alone play sports. But Chris would not let this prognosis stop him. He was determined. He was unwilling to admit defeat, even when doctors had little faith. 

After his injury, Chris met Emily, who quickly stole his heart. Not long after dating, the couple knew they had found their match and got engaged. A team, Chris and Emily supported each other through every hurdle, sometimes quite literally. When Chris graduated college, Emily even helped him walk across that stage to get his diploma. 

Emily never wavered in her support of Chris throughout his trying process of recovery, and through his journey with rehabilitation, Emily was consistently at Chris's side. Because of her constant love and devotion, Chris was willing to do whatever it took to be walking by her side on their wedding day as husband and wife.
