Fans Floored By Fully Tattooed Man's Before & After Photos

Nov 28, 2022

There’s absolutely no reason to ask one man whether he has a love for tattoos – it’s written all over his face!

One Canadian, who goes by the name Remy on Instagram, has garnered a huge following among the tattoo-obsessed due to the ink he claimed takes up about 95% of his body. The father of one has inked large swathes of skin on his legs and arms in complete blackout tattoos, while his scalp, neck and face are adorned with intricate flowers and designs. His torso is emblazoned with huge fangs, while his upper chest is adorned with a skull and wings. His unusual look has earned him more than 203,000 followers on Instagram, and they routinely encourage his passion with kind words and compliments on the photos he posts of his “body of work.”

Apart from the tattoos, Remy also has multiple unique and interesting piercings to complete the look he is going for. Remy isn’t put off by any critics either and has continued to find space for more artwork even as naysayers question whether there’s any real estate left on his skin. In one throwback snap posted in November 2022, Remy posted a before and after picture of a tattoo on the back of his neck he described as being unhappy with.

“The original piece was probably my least favorite, and worst tattoo I’ve ever personally had, that being said it was blacked out many years ago, and I’ve never really showed it off here until today. No laser necessary, just blackout and start again,” he wrote.

While the thousands of likes for each of Remy’s posts show just how much his fans love following his journey, there’s nothing quite like their reaction when he posts snaps of himself before he got many of the tattoos.

In August 2021, Remy posted a collage of two photos of himself; one from 2005 without any face tattoos and one in 2021. He made it clear he had no regrets about his tattooing decisions, writing: “You could say I’ve come a long way over the years, but I like to think I’m nowhere close to where I’ll be one day. … Until I draw my last breath I plan on taking chances, doing new things, and filling my cup with all the best and worst that life has to offer.”

On June 19, 2022, Remy posted a throwback photo of himself cradling his infant son in 2009, with hardly almost any visible tattoos on his body, juxtaposed by a recent picture with his son. He wrote: “2009-2022 and what feels like a life time has changed us both.”

The difference before the tattoos were again highlighted in a post in October 2022, where the additions of flowers and designs framing his face made him look almost like a completely different person from who he looked like in 2011. In his caption, he expressed how much his transformations have had a positive impact on his life.

“According to what ‘they say’ I should be a failure with no prospects and no future right now, but instead. I’m a father, a husband, and I’ve owned my own home for a decade, all the while never sacrificing my desires to appeal to this toxic idea of ‘society.’ I really hope I don’t disappoint any one still believing in such hateful old stigmas, but it turns out being happy and doing what you want works out after all 🤷‍♂️ who knew?” he wrote.

Perhaps it’s not just his alterations that have wowed the public, but his upbeat and optimistic outlook on life.
