Family Wakes Up And Finds Fox Sleeping On Top Of Their Microwave

When you have a pet that lives inside your home, you don't expect to keep an immaculate home.

In fact, you're likely to walk into a mess one in a while. Pets are mischievous little creatures. They get into things and can have your house turned upside down in no time.

This family had quite a surprise one morning when coming down for breakfast. They found a giant mess made by a fox. Yes, a fox was in their home and he had made it his. There was a mess all over. He had smashed and knocked over the plants and didn't spare the countertops. He only stopped the ruckus to take a rest.

This little fox was found in the home of Kim Fryer on an early morning in December. She said that her daughter yelled up to her around 7 am. When Fryer came down she found the cute little creature curled up napping away on the top of their microwave.

Their family has a dog and five cats so they have a pet door. She only assumes that's how the fox accessed their home

Fryer states that there was mud everywhere from the plants that he smashed up. As she entered into the kitchen, she turned the light on. The fox opened one of his eyes but didn't even attempt to get up. Fryer said that's when she knew that something was wrong, she just didn't know what.

Fryer decided to call RSPCA to come for the fox. He was transported to Putney Animal Hospital which is located in London. The fox was monitored and checked over by a veterinarian.

The fox seemed very lethargic and weak at the start of the visit but soon came around and they weren't able to find anything that was wrong.

One of the spokesperson's at the hospital talked of how the fox was able to enter the home through the pet door and found a warm place to nap in. He went on to say how the fox was happy to be visiting in the hospital but was not thrilled to being kept in the cage.

The little fox was found to have a clean bill of health. After his visit at the hospital, he was released back into the wild in an area close to where he was found. They wished him luck as he wandered away.

It's not rare to see a fox in the UK, except for when they are found on top of a microwave in someone's home!

Be sure and send this story on and brighten someones day! I know I would love to have a visit from a fox, but without a mess included.
