Excited Chihuahua Meets Baby Boy For The First Time, Her Reaction Stuns Parents

Do you know the feeling of joy that we get when we see a newborn baby who has just come into the world? Well, apparently humans aren’t the only ones who get that uplifting feeling at the sight of a newborn. Quica is a Chihuahua pup who had an incredible reaction the first time she met her new human sibling.

The day that her human family brought newborn baby Nicholas home from the hospital, Quica was as thrilled as the pup had ever been. The dog began ferociously wagging her tail as soon as she saw Nicholas for the first time.

Nicholas’ father slowly lowered him down to get closer to Quica. He was holding Nicholas upside down and Quica immediately showed her solidarity to her new brother by rolling on her back as well. Her tail never stopped wagging as she greeted her new brother just 4 days after he was born.

Nicholas’s mother told reshareworthy.com that she wasn’t surprised that Quica felt such a strong connection with the baby. She said the Quica had a connection to Nicholas before the baby was even born. She shares that while she was pregnant with Nicholas, Quica was incredibly protective of her baby bump.

Every time her husband would reach out to touch her bump or put his hand on her belly, Quica was immediately alert and at high attention. Quica even went so far as to give a warning snap at her husband to make sure he knew to watch himself around the baby bump.

Quica has an almost motherly demeanor towards baby Nicholas. She is never seen not wagging her tail rapidly when she is in sight of Nicholas. In fact, she spends hours and hours standing guard underneath Nicholas’ crib while he sleeps.

She watches his every move and perks up her ears at even the smallest sound, always ready to protect her baby brother. Her tail begins to wag every time Nicholas makes even the slightest of small baby noises. She also has continued to mimic whatever position he is in, rolling on his back when Nicholas lies on his back.
