“The Sound of Silence” is a beautiful yet haunting song by the music duo Simon & Garfunkel. The song was written by Paul Simon, and was later remixed by record producer Tom Wilson. While the original was a commercial failure, the remixed version went on to receive great success and to this day it is still recognized as one of the most amazing songs out there. “The Sound of Silence” has since been featured in the 1967 film “The Graduate,” and was even covered by the heavy metal band Disturbed in 2015.

It’s safe to say that most people are familiar with the Simon & Garfunkel tune, adding an extra layer of pressure to anyone who chooses to cover the song. For one couple, they seemed to be fearless when they covered the masterpiece on “RocKwiz,” an Australian television live music trivia show.

The band Husky is an indie-folk band from Melbourne, Australia, that features Husky Gawenda.
