Dog Falls Deeply In Love With The Local Mailmen So Mom Starts Recording Their Daily Routine

Apr 04, 2019

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to the mail. Some men and women prefer to get their packages from UPS. Others may like FedEx or the USPS much better. Some people simply do not care who delivers their packages at all, as long as they arrive safely and on time. It all depends on the person and the situation.

However, the star of this particular video does not discriminate.

Pippin, a golden retriever who is currently 6-years-old, lives with her human family in a little town in South Carolina. Pippin has always been super friendly, as most golden retrievers are. However, her friendliness really comes out when the local mail carriers come around to the house.

That is when Pippin really gets excited and happy!

She can’t wait to make their day, and they can’t wait to make hers as well! Every single day it is the same thing. Pippin stands by the front door waiting for the delivery men and women who come up to the house. They all give the happy pup lots of head pats and wonderful belly rubs when she goes out to greet them.

Some even want to take her for a ride around the block in their trucks! The UPS drivers will even leave a treat at the door for her, even on the days the family does not get a package! You can sincerely tell just how much they love and adore this friendly pooch.

The video is even more adorable when you see just how patient and kind the mail carriers are with the happy golden retriever. Even when they are busy, they make sure to take the time to say hello to the friendly dog. Pippin’s mom talked to Caters News about the time she even stole a UPS driver’s sandwich right out of the truck.

She said the man was very sweet about the incident. Pippin’s mom said that one particular FedEx delivery guy was actually very frightened of dogs and at first wouldn’t deliver packages to the front door. While it took about a year, the two are now best friends.

What an amazing story! You can watch the video for yourself below and see Pippin in action:
