Do You Remember Little Audrey Nethery? She Is Back And All Grown Up

Apr 04, 2018

Surely you remember Audrey Nethery, the seven-year-old girl from Kentucky who is suffering from debilitating bone marrow disease or as she calls it: DBA (Diamond Blackfan Anemia).

This terrible disease causes the bone marrow to not produce enough red blood cells that the body needs, which results in low amounts of oxygen being circulated.

The effects can range from and include stunted growth, birth defects, and other abnormal features.

Despite this awful disease, it has not slowed Audrey down one bit of achieving her dream as a singer and dancer. She has become internet famous for her sensational positivity and dance routines.

Audrey joined a local Zumba class and fell in love with it instantly and became a star.

All the attention is on Audrey when she dances her little heart out for us all to see. Her mom says: "She can't stop dancing and when she is not doing Zumba, she's singing and dancing around the house." She is happiest when she is rocking away to her favorite songs.

Her fame blew up when Grammy award winner Steven Battey partnered up with her.

If you didn't know this already, Battery is a songwriter who has written chart-topping singles for the likes of Madonna, Justin Bieber, Flo Rida and Jason Derulo.

However, Battey is spending most of his time helping children who are fighting for their lives and created a foundation called "Singing For Superheroes." His work is helping thousands of children across the globe including Audrey.

As a result of this new companionship, Audrey released her first official music video called "Life Is Beautiful" and has over 43 million views.
