Cockatoo Is Supposed To Go To Her Cage, The Tantrum She Throws Has The Internet Loosing It

Feb 25, 2019

We all know that birds are basically one of the coolest animals ever. They can sing, fly, and basically roam the land like no other animal can. Planes and helicopters were more than likely developed due to the fact that humans wanted to be able to fly like a bird.

Another reason to love birds is the fact that some of them can actually talk. The ones that can converse with their human friends can become wonderful companions. Who wouldn’t want an animal that can actually talk back to you, even if sometimes it is just mimicking the words you are saying? Parrots and cockatoos may be right behind dogs when it comes to the “man’s best friend” title.

The best part of owning a bird that can talk is when that bird happens to have a bit of a meltdown. Since birds learn to speak from listening to those around them, they can pick up a lot of different words, even the bad ones. You definitely don’t want to talk about your secrets in front of a smart bird who may go on to repeat them.

In this particular case, Pebble the cockatoo has been in and out of almost a dozen different homes in the past two decades. These frequent changes can be tough on birds, who tend to bond with only one human owner during their lifetime. Cockatoos can also live to be 100-years-old. You can imagine just how much a bird can learn in that period of time.

Pebble hated having to stay in her cage. When her owner tries to get her back into her little home, she has a lot of heated words for him. She is not shy in the least when it comes to telling it like it is. It sounds as if she has a lot to get off of her chest!

When you listen to the video you can tell she is putting different sentences together that she has heard from various conversations. The best part is that she has picked up a few swear words in her life that she isn’t afraid to use! Her reaction to her owner is absolutely hilarious. Who knew a bird meltdown would be so funny!
