Cat's Reaction To Dog Farting In His Sleep Has Internet In Splits

Dec 13, 2018

Everyone has to pass gas when the urge arises- including animals. One pet owner caught such a moment on camera and the hilarious video has the Internet in stitches.

The proud pet owner was videoing his dog and cat while they slept peacefully side by side. The sweet moment showed the gray cat snuggled close behind a sleeping brown pup.

As the dog settles into his sleep, the cat gazes off into the distance, seemingly ready to drift off as well. Suddenly, a loud whistling sound comes from the direction of the sleeping dog's rear end.

The cat at first seems shocked, looking around to try to figure out where the sound came from, until finally the smell makes its way to its nose. As its nostrils flare, the cat's eyes narrow in obvious irritation. It looks as though the cat can't believe the audacity of the dog for farting in its direction.

Having made up its mind to take action, the cat lunges at the dog and wallops him right on the head- not once, but twice. The dog pops his head up in surprise, not understanding why the cat just attacked him.

The moment of confusion passes quickly with the pup plopping his head down on the bed and settling back into his peaceful slumber - free of any gas discomfort. He shows no sign of anger at the cat for hitting him, which must mean it's a natural occurrence between the two.

Cats tend to rule the roost. Not only do they act like they are the leader of any other animal in the home, they also like to think they can control their humans. The cat in this video fits that mold perfectly, showing that dog who's boss and letting it be known to never pass gas in its presence again.

Once the owner posted the video online, it quickly went viral as other cat owners chimed in with how they know all too well the controlling nature of a feline.

If you're an animal lover, you have to pass this video along to other animal lovers so they can see this humorous moment for themselves. Let us know what you think about the cat's behavior. Was it justified in letting the dog know it crossed a line or did it go too far?
