Catherine Zeta-Jones And Michael Douglas Reunite With Their Three Kids To Celebrate Thanksgiving

Catherine-Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas are one of Hollywood's most enduring couples of the last two decades.

For Thanksgiving, the pair united their entire family—including their children together, son Dylan and daughter Carys, as well as Michael's son from a previous marriage, Cameron. Zeta-Jones shared a photo of the family all together while celebrating Thanksgiving dinner and the scene looked incredibly cozy.

Thanksgiving is a time for family and being with the ones we love, and celebrities are no different. Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, 51, clearly felt the love while she was surrounded by all of her family last week, prompting her to share the moment on her Instagram page.

In the photo are her and her husband Michael Douglas, 76, their two children Dylan Michael Douglas, 20, and Carys Zeta Douglas, 17, as well as Michael's son from a previous marriage, Cameron Douglas, 41, and his wife Viviane Thibes and their adorable little girl Lua. The scene was truly picture-perfect. Zeta-Jones captioned the warm and light-filled photo:

“Thankful #thanksgiving.”

The scene looks very welcoming, as the family sits around a lavish dining table that's laid out with festive decorations including a turkey figure and candles, while a warm glow illuminates the room. It's truly a picturesque Thanksgiving dinner and we can only imagine how happy they all felt together. 

On top of the gorgeous family photo, Zeta-Jones shared behind-the-scenes moments leading up to the family dinner on her Instagram Stories. These included her dressing the table in preparation for dinner, and an adorable clip of Lua wishing everyone happy Thanksgiving.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones' love story is an incredibly sweet one and no doubt that has laid the foundation for the family they've built together. The pair initially met in 1998 at the Deauville Film Festival. According to E! Online, Zeta-Jones knew that Douglas wanted to meet her, but she was wary of this because she didn't know what that would exactly mean.

But their meeting must have been successful, as the two started dating and by New Year's Eve of 1999, the pair were engaged before getting married in New York in 2000. Given how their relationship has unfolded, Zeta-Jones is probably quite happy that she had the great fortune to meet Douglas and build their family together.

The couple went on to have two children together, Dylan, who was born in August 2000, and daughter Carys, who was born in April 2003. The kids also have an older half-brother, Cameron Douglas, who is their father's child from a previous marriage. The family lived in Bermuda until 2009 before moving to the United States.

Clearly a close-knit household, Zeta-Jones gushed to People Magazine in July about having her children back home this year. She said:

"But Michael and I were kind of early empty-nesters, because our son Dylan is off at college and our daughter, Carys, goes to school in Europe. So all of a sudden they descended on back into our home and it was just wonderful. It was just breakfast, lunch, and dinner all together." 

She also shared that she herself is "a bit of a homebody." She told the publication:

"I love my four walls. There’s things I can do for hours in my house and I’m very complacent, very happy."

Now usually empty-nesters, Douglas and Zeta-Jones have all the space in the world. The couple also celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary together in November, with both of them sharing moving posts to their social media accounts. Zeta-Jones posted a video featuring images of the couple, from their wedding day to more recently, to her Instagram, accompanying it with a beautiful, heartfelt caption. It said:

"20 years ago today Michael and I were married!! What an amazing magical night that was! And 7304.85 days and nights on, I love you now as I did then. (except for the point 85 bit) 😂 Thank you for the love and laughter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️" 

Meanwhile, Douglas took to his page to post a gorgeous photo of them on their wedding day, along with a voice message detailing how the couple met. He captioned his post with:

"Happy 20th Anniversary my darling! I love you always and forever"

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are truly one of Hollywood's most beautiful couplings and it's wonderful to see them so happy together alongside their gorgeous family. We wish them a happy wedding anniversary and many more to come!
