Cat Sees Owner And Says 'Well, Hi!' In A Southern Accent

An Instagram user by the name of Gambino Bambino happened to catch the funniest video of her cat appearing to talk and you simply have to see it. The short video was watched almost 150,000 times in just two days. This is made even more amazing when you understand that Gambino Bambino only has slightly over 3,200 followers.

The cat appears to greet their owner by saying "Well, hi" in the sweetest Southern accent. The camera follows the cat around the room, setting the animal up for the adorable greeting. The perfect timing of the cat's greeting makes the video even funnier.

After seeing the popularity of the clip on Instagram, the owner then posted the video on her TikTok account. So far, that clip has garnered over 1.3 million likes.

There have been other cats in the past whose meows have sounded like they are saying other words. According to Psychology Today, Cats may meow at humans for several different reasons. Usually, cats want something such as food or attention other times cats are just looking to say hello and greet their human. 

But cats don't just stop at meowing when they want to communicate. They also use other times of chatter like purring and chirping to express their needs and feelings.
