Brokenhearted Pup Left Chained To Lamppost Is Now Searching For A New Forever Home

The online community was sent into a fury recently when a photo of a dog chained to a lampost surfaced. The dog was chained on the side of a road and had no access to food or water. The sad looking dog appeared to be waiting for his owner to return. However, no one came for the dog.

A man named Graham Dobson found the dog and brought food and water to the pup. Dobson made a call to the dog warden after no one came for the dog. The whole experience was heartbreaking.

Dobson was on his way to work when he saw the dog. He could see right away that the dog was both scared and sad. Someone told him the dog had been tied there for more than an hour without any food or water. After providing food and water for the dog he waited another hour before he called the warden.

The dog was extremely friendly and Dobson couldn't believe someone would treat the dog with such cruelty. Dobson is an animal lover and does not like seeing animals neglected or mistreated.

The 43-year-old Dobson was saddened by the thought of the dog sitting there wondering if his owner would ever return for him. Dobson hopes the dog will be united with a better owner now that he is in the care of the dog warden.

Commenters on social media expressed similar feelings as Dobson. One commenter wondered how someone could do something so awful to the dog. The commenter hopes the person who discarded the dog in this way is found and punished. A second commenter hoped the dog would find a home where he would be properly loved and cared for.

The owner eventually returned to the scene. Apparently, the dog had become too much of a burden for him and he could no longer take care of the dog. The owner signed the dog over to the dog warden. The dog, whose name is Max, is presently residing at the Yorkshire Boxer Rescue and is waiting for a new permanent home.
