9-Yr-Old Violinist’s Cover Of “Despacito” Has Passersby Dancing On Sidewalk.

After only three years of playing the violin, this YouTube sensation has taken the world by storm. The catch? She’s only nine years old! And did we mention that she released an album in July 2018?

Karolina Protsenko’s rise to musical fame has been nothing short of amazing. On July 28, 2018, she played a cover of “Despacito” that was captured and uploaded to YouTube. In the video, you can see her performance stopping bystanders as they stood in awe watching this young girl’s performance.

You can’t help but notice the confidence as she tucks the violin under her chin and draws her bow across the strings. Her style draws upon not only classical violin, but also contemporary music. This results in a very refreshing sound that pulls you in and has you tapping your foot along to the music.

As mentioned, she released an album in July 2018. This 12 song production included hits such as the classic, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” as well as “Let It Go” (Disney’s Frozen), and “Fix You” (Cold Play).
