Each child has their own unique talent or ability that makes them special. For Luke Spring, that talent is dancing.

The gifted boy began his journey into dancing at the young age of four. The moment he put on his first pair of dance shoes, he knew he'd found his calling. His parents fully supported their son's dancing dreams by signing him up for a variety of dance classes.

One of those classes, led by experienced instructor Justin M. Lewis, was a tap dancing class. Justin and Luke instantly hit it off and, before long, they decided to enter a tap dancing competition.

The DC Tap Festival, where Justin and Luke performed, is a renowned tap dancing festival where phenomenal dancers from around the world come to show off their talents. In 2011, the young tap dancing genius set the stage on fire along with his gifted instructor.

Both clad in black dress pants, white button down shirts, and fancy ties, the duo begins their performance with a few claps to set the rhythm. As their feet begin moving in unison with their hands, the crowd becomes mesmerized by the beat.

Roughly 30 seconds into their routine, the crowd really starts to cheer as the student and his instructor perform leaps and twists, all the while tapping their feet to a captivating rhythm. Stunned, the festival attendees can't believe how much talent this little boy has at such a young age.

Halfway through their performance, it's Luke's time to really shine. His instructor, Justin, gives him the go-ahead to begin his solo routine. The duo take turns showing off their moves while the crowd looks on in disbelief.

Once their solos are done, the brilliant twosome effortlessly merge back into their synchronized tapping. As their remarkable performance comes to a close, the instructor and his student give each other a high five as the crowd claps and cheers.

The world could, quite possibly, have the next Fred Astaire on their hands with young Luke. If the incredibly skilled tap instructor, Justin, keeps working with him, who knows what the 4-year-old dance prodigy can accomplish.

Watch the extraordinary video for yourself to witness their unbelievable performance. Do you think Luke is the next Fred Astaire or Bill "Bojangles" Robinson? Did his parents do the right thing by supporting Luke's dreams of being a tap dancer at such a young age? If you were just as astounded as we were by this duo's performance, be sure to pass the video onto your friends so they can enjoy it, too.
