When it comes to relationships, strong women with a healthy self-image have certain definite expectations. They're not likely to fall for someone who doesn't live up to their high standards. These standards aren't focused on surface issues, like physical appearance and a witty sense of humor, though both of those qualities are certainly a plus. Instead, she's looking at inner qualities that define a person's true character.

Here are a few of the key qualities a confident woman looks for in a man she's considering for a serious long-term relationship. First of all, she's looking for a true gentleman. She's not going to be interested in someone who is rude or crude in her presence. If he doesn't have common decency, she won't give him the time of day.
