Three glasses of champagne can help prevent Alzheimer’s disease! Scientists have found that drinking three glasses of champagne could potentially prevent dementia and Alzheimer’s! The types of grape called Pinot Noir and Pinot Meuner which are typically used to make champagne apparently contain a specific constituent that may deter the onset of severe brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. This has been proven in a study conducted and published by the University of Reading, UK. The study contained several experiments with laboratory rats. The scientists claim that people who drink champagne on a regular basis, i.e. up to three times a week, furthermore benefit their spatial memory. They are hoping to soon carry out the experiment on humans, preferably seniors. Professor Jeremy Spencer publically explained how dramatic and exciting the results are. The study has illustrated that moderate consumption of bubbly could potentially have a major impact on our cognitive memory. A British spokesman from the Alzeheimer's Society stated that the study is very interesting, however far more research needs to be done.
