She Hangs Christmas Lights Behind The Bed. When The Camera Pans Out? STUNNING

Apr 01, 2016 by apost team

Just because you don’t have the budget of a millionaire doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy high-quality bedroom fashion! On her YouTube channel “LaguanaBeachLove10”, Nastazsa shows viewers how to snazzy up bedrooms with an easy DIY Light Up Headboard. Not only can you add this stylish feature to your bedroom with only a little bit of work, but it is also a super low-cost project.

The tools needed to accomplish this project are:

  • A curtain rod that will fit across the length of your headboard
  • Christmas tree lights
  • Damage-free plastic hooks
  • Curtains
  • An electric drill

Nastazsa started out by hanging the curtain rod against the wall behind her headboard. The rod needs to be hung several feet higher than the bed but lower than the ceiling. The curtain rod can be hung with an electric drill.

Once the curtain rod is in place, place the hooks on the wall in a straight line below the curtain rod. The hooks should be evenly spaced apart along the wall.

Carefully string the lights by draping them over the hooks. The lights should be positioned to a hook, dropped down to the floor, and then lifted back up to go over the next hook. Basically, you’re just covering the area with the strands of lights. This is the tricky part, because the lights can easily become tangled.

Once the lights are in place, take the curtain rod down and hang the curtain over it, then place it back on the wall. Arrange the curtain according to your style, and turn the lights on.

When the lights are on, they will shine through the curtain, giving it a beautiful, feminine glow, while changing the entire appearance of the room.

If you’re not into the delicate white-light look, go for colored lights or curtains.
